Pinecrest

A community-focused neighborhood with an active social life for family members of all ages.

Welcome to Pinecrest

A closeknit, affluent Miami community.

For wealthy families seeking a community-focused neighborhood with an active social life for family members of all ages, Pinecrest offers all that with warm weather just 11 miles south of Miami. “Pinecrest is a place where your neighbors become your friends, we have a lot of neighborhood gatherings,” says Jane Barrellier, twenty-year resident of Pinecrest and licensed REALTOR® with Compass Florida. “It’s more than a high quality of life, it’s really a lifestyle.” Neighborhood activities are so abundant, in fact, that Barrellier now runs the Pinecrest Neighbors blog and Facebook page to keep residents up to date on Pinecrest life.

Huge range of home prices with a high median.

Most of Pinecrest’s residential development occurred in the mid-twentieth century, so ranch-style homes are predominant throughout its streets. Today, many of its older homes are being torn down to make way for stucco-sided, modern mansions sitting on roughly half-acre lots. Reflective of the neighborhood’s affluent residents, home prices lean heavily toward the high end with a median price of just over $2 million, which is up 6% from the previous year. Relatively more affordable condos are available, offering options far lower than $1 million. Prices can range from $252,600 for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo with 574 square feet to more than $11 million for an eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom modern-style home with over 9,000 square feet.
